CEO and owner Alexander O. Johnson Sr. launched Alex Pest Control in 1999. His goal was to build a business that went beyond profits. As a single parent, he wanted to set an example for his son that integrity in business meant providing elite customer service every time.

This dedication to service quality led to the establishment of APS Elite Logistics. APS Pest Service Customers were so impressed by how courteous and efficient Alex was that they frequently asked him to provide other solutions that made life just a bit easier. A frequent request was private moving services. Alex excelled at this, and word quietly spread across Memphis and internationally that he was the go to guy for logistical and transportation services. To this day, his reputation precedes him in handling precious art and collectibles among reputable artists, residences and businesses.
